House of Representive Member Bong-Bong Marcos Visits Aparri

Current Deputy Minority Leader in the House of Representative Bong-Bong Marcos recently visited Aparri, Cagayan.  Met with incumbent Mayor Ismael Tumaru, other local government staff and of course, the common town folks.

Aparri is gaining a lot of national public exposure because of this visit.   What do you think is the purpose of this visit?  The coming May 2010 election and the famous representative has a new political agenda.   Will the  representative from Ilocos Norte be helping Aparri or just be helping himself to get re-elected to another loftier post?   Let us wait and see.

House of  Representative member Bong Bong Marcos is running for Senate this coming May 2010 election.

Keep in mind, there are a lot of major events happening in Aparri and nearby towns...to name a few...

  • Black Sand Mining - on a terrible note, a person murdered most likely a result in opposing to quarrying of black sands in Cagayan.
  • Wind Generated Power Plant - in the works
  • Revitalization of Punta Pier - in the works
  • Proposed Economic Zone- serving the ASEAN members
  • Reactivation of Aparri Airport
